After inspection in September 2015 the Trust was rated “inadequate” overall. Nearly a year later the Trust shows improvement in five areas: –
- improvement in patient focus
- 300 new nurses and midwives and 30 new consultants in post
- 80% reduction on Grade 3 ulcers
- infrastructure advances from a £6 million major maintenance programme and
- better governance and risk management including an improved complaints procedure.
Katie Fisher became the Trust’s CEO from the beginning of July 2016.
